What is NuiTrip?

It's a travel map for your plushie. Take it along on a trip, upload the photos, and each one gets pinned on a shared world map. Little by little you build a record of everywhere it's been.

Is NuiTrip free to use?

Yes. It's free while we're in beta: profiles, uploads, your map, badges, all of it. We may add paid capacity for very large photo collections down the line, but there's nothing to pay for right now.

How do my photos get onto the map?

Accepted Answer

Most phone photos save where they were taken, and NuiTrip reads that to place them for you. If a photo doesn't have location, just search for the spot by name after uploading and drop the pin yourself.

What kind of photos can I upload?

JPG, PNG, WebP, or HEIC, up to 10MB each. Location helps us place the photo automatically, but it's optional. You can set the spot by hand after uploading. Just get your plushie in the shot.

Question 5

Who can see the photos I share?

Accepted Answer

NuiTrip is public. Your photos show up on the world map and on your plushie's profile for anyone to find, so share the ones you're happy for others to see.

Which plushies can join?

Accepted Answer

Any of them. Brand-name characters, handmade ones, the well-loved bear you've had for years. Have a look at the Plushie Dex to see who's already out traveling.

Question 7

What are the badges?

Small rewards your plushie picks up as it travels. Some come from the countries and cities you visit, some from the kinds of places you go (temples, cafes, mountains), and others from things like how many photos you post, day streaks, or running into another traveler's plushie in the same city. There are over 100 to collect.
